Miami Museums

If you’re looking for something fun and interesting to do while in the wonderful city of  Miami, you should really check out some of the museums in the local area. Museums are a great way to explore culture and experience more of what Miami is about as well as learn something new. We’re going to look at a few museums that the you may be able to get into without having to dig too deeply into your pockets.

The Miami Art Museum is located at 101 West Flagler Street, Miami, Florida, 33130 in the Philip Johnson-designed Miami-Dade Cultural Center. This museum is dedicated to collecting and exhibiting international art work from the 20th and 21st centuries. It has a special focus on art from the Americas, Europe, and Africa. The Miami Art Museum’s location is key to the type of art that it showcases and collects. Miami is a cultural melting pot to people with people hailing from the Caribbean and the Americas to as far as Europe.  MAM embraces its role as a cultural anchor and touchstone in a city that welcomes countless ethnic and age groups, lifestyles and ideas.

Admission for Adults is 8$ per adult and a combination ticket for HistoryMiami and the Miami Art Museum goes for 10$. Children under 12 years of age get in free and senior citizens are able to get in for 4$ kamagra en españa. The Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10AM to 5PM and closed on Mondays. Miami Art Museum is open on the weekend from 12PM to 5PM which is perfect for midday exploring plans.

The other museum on that we look at is the Miami Science Museum. The Miami Science Museum is located at 3280 South Miami Avenue. Just north of Coconut Grove, across from Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. The Miami museum of science has many showcases many educational exhibits for adults and children alike. The museum has a space planetarium, and a wildlife center, and many exhibits with changing special events from month to month. It encourages people of all ages and cultures to enjoy science and technology.

The museum is open daily from 10AM to 6PM providing greater opportunity for an all day science exploration.The entrance fee for adults is about 15$ and 11$ for children 3-12 and senior citizens  Discounts are available for group ticket purchases. The ticket price includes admission to all of the museum’s galleries, the planetarium shows and the wildlife center.

The Miami Science Museum is more pricey than the Museum before it but with the wonders to be discovered within it is well worth the extra couple dollars.
